About This Records Resource

St. Clair County Busted Mugshots is a privately operated reference site for people trying to identify the right official source for a custody search, booking record, or later court case. It does not collect or publish booking-photo galleries. Instead, it directs readers to the Sheriff’s current-custody portal, agency records routes, court tools, and Michigan corrections resources.

Why Official Sources Matter

Booking information can be held by more than one office. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office maintains the county custody search and county-held intake records. An arresting city department may hold the incident report or an agency image. The Michigan Department of Corrections maintains its own state-supervision records, while the county courts record the events that follow booking. This site brings those separate paths together without presenting a private copy as an official record.

Records also answer different questions. The jail portal addresses current county custody, while a court docket addresses a case’s later outcome. A booking allegation is not a conviction, and a court result may reduce, dismiss, or otherwise change an initial charge.

Resources Organized by Record

The site’s main reference pages point to the offices that maintain the underlying information.

  • The home page explains current custody, booking-record requests, Michigan law, and the official roster path.
  • Wanted Fugitives describes the verified St. Clair warrant-check and tip routes when a public county list is unavailable.
  • Arrest News separates selected local reporting from official booking and court records.
  • City pages identify the Port Huron, Marysville, and St. Clair police-records routes and the county booking destination.

Limits of a Private Reference

This is not a Michigan government office and is not connected to a sheriff, jail, police department, court, or corrections agency. It cannot release or transfer a person, post bond, arrange a visit, retrieve an official file, or give legal advice. Contact the public office that owns the record for those actions.

Only the responsible agency can confirm current custody, a release, a booking charge, or whether a record is available under Michigan law.

Search-Partner Disclosure

Some pages contain a search box operated by an outside provider. That provider sets its own results, terms, and pricing. If a visitor chooses a paid partner service after using a referral link, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support its operation. That relationship does not make a partner result an official county record.
